Who we are
This website is run by Fauna (“we”, “us”). For anything about your data, email info@getfauna.co.
What we collect
- Consultation requests. When you book a consultation we receive your work email address and the type of clinic you chose.
- Emails you send us. Whatever you include when you write to info@getfauna.co.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider records technical details of each visit, such as your IP address, browser and the pages requested. Our own logs also note the email address on each consultation request so we can fix delivery problems.
We don’t use analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and we don’t sell or share your data for marketing.
Why we use it
We use your details to reply to your request and arrange a consultation. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: you asked us to get in touch. We use server logs to keep the site secure and working, also under legitimate interests.
Who handles it for us
- Render hosts this website.
- Resend delivers consultation requests to our inbox.
- Microsoft provides our email (Microsoft 365).
These providers only process data on our instructions. Some of them process data outside the UK. Where they do, they rely on recognised safeguards for international transfers.
How long we keep it
We keep consultation requests and related emails only for as long as we need them to reply and follow up, then delete them. If you become a customer, our customer terms apply. Server logs are kept for a short period set by our hosting provider.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the data we hold about you, ask us to restrict or stop using it, or ask for a copy to take elsewhere. Email info@getfauna.co and we’ll respond within one month. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
We use one cookie. It’s strictly necessary, so we don’t ask for consent, and it isn’t used to track you.
Our fonts are served from this website, so your browser doesn’t contact any third party when you visit.
The demo
The demo runs on made-up clinic data and nothing in it is sent anywhere. Please don’t type real personal information into it.
Changes
If we change this notice, we’ll update the date at the top.
